olja triaška stefanovič: this could be a place for nice life

5 – 23 June 2013
monographic exhibition of photographer Olja Triaška Stefanovič
organisers: Olja Triaška Stefanovič, design factory
curator: Bohunka Koklesová

Olja T. Stefanovič  worked on her latest photography throughout 2012- 2013.
In her art practise she's focused on the relationship between photography and space, in terms of historical and sociological memory of space, of  the disappearance of space and also in terms of its changes in functionality . Her new project brings forth another sphere of space understanding, in which she goes into the  simulations of space, in search for ideal “family” living.

Olja was born in Novi Sad, Serbia but lives and works in Slovakia. She teaches at the Department of Photography and New Media, this year having finished her doctoral studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Bratislava.
