twenty after twenty cz-sk

14 January - 7 February 2010
exhibition of young cz-sk architects
organisers: design factory, Galerie Jaroslava Fragnera

After successfull premiere in Jaroslav Fragner Gallery in Prague, the exhibition Twenty after Twenty is coming to Bratislava. This Czech-Slovak exhibition presents creative approach and thinking of young architects in a humorous way. The exhibition showcases the work of 20 Czech and 20 Slovak ateliers - architects who began to study architecture after the Velvet Revolution. The realizations, although a bit unconventional ones, will be exposed instead of traditional models: CZ - dog kennels, SK - bird boxes.

The exhibition is accompanied by a comprehensive Czech-Slovak-English catalogue which features particular ateliers and architects and their work. We can find there realizations, competitive projects, studies and visions of three selected works. Introductory texts are written by Imro Vaško and Adam Gebrian.

The exhibition is held under the auspices of Václav Riedlbauch, Minister of Culture of Czech Republic and Marek Maďarič, Minister of Culture of Slovak Republic.
